Christmas can be expensive. It’s also a time of year when you want to go all out because it’s so much fun – especially with kids! So I’m always on the lookout for cheap (or free!) activities to do with Graham and this year I found a new favorite: the Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs! If you haven’t seen my other posts about Christmas at Disney, check out Seven Awesome Ways to Celebrate Christmastime at Disney and Getting the Most Out of Your Visit to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!
Disney Springs has improved so much in the last few years and there’s so much more space for all the people it draws. Big bonus: the parking is free (and so is the sample chocolate at Ghirardelli!). If you haven’t heard about all the awesome changes that have been made, check out the post I wrote about that recently.
It’s even more beautiful than usual at Christmas because everything is decked out in beautiful lights!
As you make your way to the Christmas Tree Trail, you’ll pass a fun display where they do a nightly tree lighting ceremony and there are stilt-walkers and costumed characters available for photos.
The trail has 15 trees decorated in the theme of favorite Disney characters and movies and it’s so fun to see the attention to detail on every tree!
